Arc-en-Ciel International School is a private school in Lomé offering quality education in French and English from Kindergarten to High School as well as boarding facilities. It is an accredited IB (International Baccalaureate) World School authorised to deliver the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) in French and English. The school is a Candidate school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) at primary and kindergarden levels.

Its Mission: "Develop leaders able to serve and improve the world". To achieve this goal, we develop their intellectual and moral capacities to become agents of development in their community.

OPENINGS - 2019 / 2020

Arc-en-Ciel International School is presently seeking a number of teachers for the coming academic year 2019/20. The positions being sought are:

1. Primary School Teacher (6-9 yrs)

2. Secondary School - English Language and Literature Teacher (11-17 yrs)

3. Secondary School - Art Teacher (11-17 yrs)

4. Secondary School - Mathematics Teacher (11-17 yrs)

5. Secondary School - Humanities Teacher (11-17 yrs)

Experienced and newly qualified teachers are invited to respond, individuals with relevant experience will be considered. Successful applicants will be enthusiastic about the field of education, eager to learn how to implement rigorous IB norms in this new cultural context and principled in their world view. Having English as mother tongue is a pre-requisite and being fluent in French an advantage, but not essential. A keen interest in working in a developing country is essential. Experience in teaching an IB programme (PYP, MYP and DP) is an advantage but not essential.
